When I dance I focus on the instruments and sounds within the track and not just the claps that land on the one. When I approach the dance from this perspective it allows me to create new moves because there has to be more moves executed before the instruments meet back at the one. All the notes and sounds in between are what I use to create a powerful and fluid or (power) style. I marry multiple movements of my body to the multiple movement of sounds to create a style that anticipates the groove. I will demostrate this in deatil on the Westcoast Cha tutorial video coming soon. I'm sure it will help you add to your arsenal of dance moves and allow more freedom in your style.
