I think overall, Dancejam needs to do more advertising and marketing to various dance schools, workshops, etc. in order to attract more users of the website, which will result in greater participation and loyalty to the site.

I also think it would be a wise investment to do some sort of advertising on YouTube & MySpace, which is where the majority of dancers post their vids.

Dancejam has a phenomenal concept, but if the millions of dance lovers that are out there, are not aware of it, it'll be very difficult for contests, battles, etc. to really take off.

If anyone is interested, from the company, in gaining more information, as marketing/advertising is my background and passion, I'd be more than happy to consult. Best wishes and continued success. :)

Finally, I'm interested in knowing next steps, as well, regarding ABDC tickets, as I submitted a vid on behalf of my sons to compete. Please advise - our deadline has passed and I'm just wanted some type of follow-up as to next steps, etc. Thanks.

When/How will we know who won the "judging" contest? :)

The ABDC contest is over and it's been a great learning experience for the DanceJam team. We saw some great dance videos entered, but not as many as we had hoped. TheBrownBoysdotws Mom makes some good points and I want to let you all know that we are doing some of those things. Of course, more promotion can't hurt - so, we're on it!

We didn't receive enough submissions to any single city to hold any ABDC dance tournaments, but that didn't stop us from awarding prizes. Everyone who won tickets to see the show was notified via the e-mail address linked to their account. So, if you think you should have won, make sure the e-mail address associated with your profile is correct. If you're wondering if you won, you can contact me directly.

And, while there is no trip to Houston because there weren't any ABDC tournaments to vote on, we did see a few people really dedicate some time to judging and have contacted the top judge because we want to give that person tickets to the show closest to them.
