I've just uploaded the pics from The Evolution, a dance battle event that went down a few weeks ago, hosted by Tommy The Clown, the inspiration behind the movie 'Rize.'

The event kicked off with some preliminary dance battles, and then moved into the main event - a showdown between Golden Gigs, representing San Francisco/Oakland, and The Bridge Dance League, representing Los Angeles.

Since the event organizers are still getting their footage uploaded, I don't want to spoil the outcome.  But both groups displayed some serious creativity and talent.  I was lucky enough to snap this photo of one of the dancers, who out of the blue started spraying sparks from his hand (Check out the expression on Tommy's face:)
