Leigh Anne Davis
Dance Experience
Leigh Anne has been dancing since she was three. She has been competing since the age of seven, during which time she has received numerous first place awards, scholarships, was Regional Miss Teen Starpower and top ten placements. She has also helped Southern Strutt win two Starpower Victory Cup Awards, their highest national competition award. Leigh Anne has traveled extensively during her dance career, studying in Los Angeles on scholarship for six years, as well as New York and Las Vegas. She also appeared in Dee Caspery’s “The Shoot”, as well as being part of LA Dance Magic’s “The Final Cut”, after which she spent a year as part of the LADM Company where she was one of eighteen dancers chosen from across the United States to assist at their conventions and nationals. For the 2007-2008 season she is an apprentice with LADM. Leigh Anne has been assisting classes at Southern Strutt since she was fourteen, and teaching since she was sixteen. Leigh Anne’s love for fashion and design has allowed her to blend her two loves in to award winning costumes for herself and her fellow dancers. She spent a semester studying at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in LA while continuing to study dance there. Leigh Anne is currently a member of the “Unbound Company” founded by Caroline Lewis Jones and Susan Dabney. Leigh Anne is available for Choreography, Master Classes in Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Technique, Stretch and Strengthening, Costume Design and Production.
