The explosive Kathak and Tap collaborative production, "India Jazz Suites", between Kathak master Pt. Chitresh Das & Tap star Jason Samuels Smith. Don't call this fusion, but rather two masters staying true to their art forms and finding a common ground to communicate. Kathak is a classical dance form from North India that is characterized by fast footwork, pirouettes, and expression for storytelling. It also traditionally includes a high level of improvisation.
